His empowerment programs focussed on the weaker sections of the society through education, skill development, employment, industry, agriculture, trade, commerece, organization, and institution building.
Social, economic, cultural, educational and spiritual advancement and general well being of people at large on the principles of equality, liberty and fraternity through the promotion and propagation of teachings of Sree Narayana Guru.
Establish and maintain educational institutions, establish students homes, libraries and public halls, provide educational assistance to the poor, aid and run charitable hospitals, dispensaries, health centres, organize programs and projects for social change, provide guidance for entrepreneurship, create facilities for cultural and spiritual development.
Dr. K K Damodaran, whom we used to fondly address “Dr. Sir”, is no more. He was the heart and soul of Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti (SNMS) which he co-founded and led from the front for 50 years. He demonstrated by his own life and work as to how Sree Narayana Guru's principles and philosophy should be put into practice for the welfare of humanity. His name was synonymous with the Samiti and his personal contributions towards the growth of the organization to its present stature have been phenomenal.
