Dr. K.K Damodaran, President Emiritus of Sree Narayana Samiti , and its founder chairman, left for heavenly abode on 17 August 2014 at 4.40 PM. The first death anniversary was observed on 17 Aug. 2015 with special prayers and a free medical camp. His 95th birth anniversary was celebrated on 31 October by erecting a full size bronze statue at Chembur complex unveiled by Swami Rithambarananda. Dr. K K Damodaran Memorial Award for excellence in social service will be presented every year to a person or institution to be chosen by a selection committee . The Award carries a csah prize of Rs. one lakh, a Citation and a Memento for outstanding contribution to the society. The recipient of the first awards for the year 2016 is Professor Ashis Nandy, renowned philosopher, thinker,sociologist, political psychologist, clinical psychologist and human rights activist for his interventions, books, articles and commentaries on various social issues and suggesting solutions.

    With the solemn aim of creating a youth front of Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti, a Youth Convention was called forth on 29th January 2012 & was met with a phenomenol response. The convention helped identity the efficient speakers and the prospect active youth cadres of the Samiti.

    Our cultural activities are mainly based on the ideals of Sree Narayana Guru.Our activities are enhancing the quality of life,moulding the character,uplifting the mental and normal strength of man,making him understand how to live in the present world fully conscious,virtuous and upright.

  • Women's Wing

    Women's wing is concentrating in organising Kudumba Yogams in all units. They are teaching the women how to become a good kudumbini(house wife) and how to bring prosperity and happiness in their families. Such meetings have resulted in emerging good relationship among families.
